Last fall, Allen volunteered to
help run an annual charity golf
tournament that raised $34,500
for Autism Nova Scotia, one of
HIAA’s strategic partners. Allen
wasn’t alone in helping; more than
30 employees volunteered with
the planning and running of the
tournament and 52 employees
golfed.
“It’s a really fun event,” says
Allen. “It felt really good to be part
of it knowing that we were helping
a good cause.”
