to hold new boarding gates is
being built and baggage systems
are being upgraded. The plan also
includes connecting the airport to
Montréal’s new rapid transit light
rail system that links the suburbs
to downtown.
Employees at ADM Aéroports de Montréal are working on an ambitious plan to improve accessibility and
connectivity within the airport and beyond.
“We are building the airport
of tomorrow,” says Beauchamp,
an industrial engineer and
former academic who was
hired in September 2023
to lead ADM. Throughout
his career, Beauchamp has
led major revitalization and
development projects at McGill
University, École de technologie
supérieure and Université de
Montréal.
“We’ve been planning for a
year and a half but now work has
begun and things are becoming
real. It is a source of inspiration
for our employees,” Beauchamp
says. “One day, they will be able
to say they were a part of making
this airport the airport that
Montréal deserves.”
