important for Hrycyna, first as a
recipient, now as someone who
pays it forward, meeting with team
members monthly or bi-weekly.
“It’s very much a symbiotic
relationship,” he says. “It’s our
opportunity to help them grow
and it’s their opportunity to help
us grow so that the team becomes
stronger over time.”
Like Fontaine and Hrycyna,
many employees stay for decades,
some as long as 40 years.
“There are always new
challenges to take on,” says
Hrycyna. “As a curious and
creative person, that’s one of the
reasons that keeps me here. The
first is our people. We’re backed by
a great group of people around us.
“When I started in this IT group
in 2014, it was just myself and
three other people. Now we’re
close to 80, so we’ve grown quite
a bit. It’s very exciting times.
Looking ahead, the sky’s the
limit with where we’re going to
take it.”
