working on a master’s degree with

goal of rising to a vice-presidential
position — and strong mentoring
from senior staff.
“Those relationships are very
important,” Wickham says. “And
so, when I am onboarding staff, I
tell them to find ‘your people’ and
not be scared of asking questions,”
she says. “CLBC is a very welcoming organization.”
Stratulat agrees, citing the
supports for staff and the benefits,
both tangible and intangible.
