the people we bring into our
organization like to give back,”
says Bridge. “We like to help our
community because it’s where
we live too, and where our kids
play. It’s great for us to know that
when your branch raises $500,
that $500 goes back to your local
community.”
Verigina admires Western’s
practice of allocating budget
amounts for use with clients in
difficult situations. “One time late
in 2024, we just sat around and
asked ourselves about one client,
is that the best we can do? So, we
collected stuff for a Christmas
dinner and brought it to the client
with their permission. We were in
tears, the client was in tears,”
says Verigina. “That was a moment
that made me feel proud of
working here.”
