The RAHF also works to raise
money for community groups
aiming to keep people out of the
emergency room — preventive
health care, the vice president
calls it. “We’re in the middle of
a $10-million campaign to raise
money for a program called Bridge
Healing, which aims to provide
supportive housing and help
break the ER cycle,” Lister says.
“I think we all punch above our
weight at RAHF,” says Webonga.
“We care about our mission, so
people really strive to do good
work, and I think that work speaks
for itself.”
