Medical Products Inc. just over
a year ago, she sensed there was
something different about this
employer — a leading global
manufacturer of high-quality
medical personal protective
equipment headquartered in
Edmonton.
People genuinely took the time
to connect, shared who they were
and made her feel something
meaningful from day one. There
was an authenticity in how people
showed up, and that immediately
spoke to her.
People go out of their
way to help each
other with a shared
understanding that
everyone’s role impacts
the overall outcome.

“I was looking for a company
where I could see purpose in
action — in everyday decisions
and behaviours,” says Kamboj.
“Here, you can sense the
dedication people bring to their
work. There’s a deep respect for
quality and for the people behind
the products.”

company’s unique culture.
“When candidates come
through our doors, they can feel
a connection to their personal
values and our mission,” she says.
“This resonates with them as it’s

people are proud to contribute
to something that makes a real
difference.”

shared promise,’ really defines
why we come to work and what
we do,” says Ethier, who has been
with the company for 23 years.
“It’s a shared promise which really
unites — not just us internally
here at PRIMED, which is such
a strong culture — but all of the
stakeholders.
“It unites employees, clinicians
and end users around the
common goal of protecting
people, something that was
particularly highlighted during
the COVID-19 pandemic,” he says.
“I think we’ve always had this type
of purpose in our business, yet the
exercise to really define it, speak it
and unify that message has been
an incredible journey.”
That caring culture translates
into an emphasis on holistic
employee well-being, prioritizing
employee happiness, health and
engagement. Kamboj particularly
appreciates that the company
has created a safe environment
where people can voice their
opinions, have opportunities
for professional growth and feel
respected.
“Having a voice, being
valued — that’s a big part of
job satisfaction,” says Kamboj.
“There’s a culture of listening to
new ideas and allowing employees
to work in ways they find most
effective. It’s the culture that really
