Career development and regular

are key, but Wallace says a big
part of making a commitment to
employees involves making sure
their voices are heard. Regular
employee town hall meetings are
part of the process. The company
has also recently developed an
innovation hub, partly to collect
employees’ ideas about improving
the company.
“When we first came up with
the idea for the innovation hub,
we thought it would be about
experimenting with AI and
figuring out how to use it in some
of our daily activities. It’s gone
beyond that,” says Wallace. “We’re
using it to tell employees, ‘If you
have an idea, something we can
use to improve efficiency or maybe
even create a whole new business
line for us, we’d love to hear about
it.’”
