The City of Calgary is the
third-largest municipality in
Canada by population. Its 15,000plus employees provide services
that include fire, transit, waste
and recycling, social programs,
parks and recreation facilities and
more. The Municipal Complex on
Macleod Trail S.E. is the central
hub for a network serving a rapidly growing population of over 1.6
million people.

As an equity program consultant, Prince works with Calgarians
who face barriers to City services
and helps redesign them to be
more accessible. He contributed to
accessibility improvements such
as tactile wayfinding strips for
low-vision Calgarians at various

His role also brings him into
contact with diverse communities
and departments across the City,
ensuring programs are shaped
by real experiences and meet the
needs of the people that they are
meant to serve.

David Duckworth, chief
administrative officer, says the
