BC’S TOP EMPLOYERS (2025)
Adam Spear,
president at
Vancouver-based
Warrington PCI
Management, gives
a presentation on
sustainability in the
organization’s
boardroom.
Methodology
A
ny employer with its head
office or principal place of
business in British Columbia
may apply for BC’s Top Employers.
With an increasingly diverse
economy and one of the lowest
unemployment rates in Canada,
employers must ensure they
offer competitive benefits and
opportunities for professional
advancement to attract and retain
top talent.
To determine competition
winners, employers are compared
to organizations in similar
industries and of similar size.
Employers are evaluated on
eight selection criteria, which
are: (1) Workplace; (2) Work
Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health,
Financial & Family Benefits; (4)
Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee
Communications; (6) Performance
Management; (7) Training & Skills
Development; and (8) Community
Involvement.
While the underlying criteria
have remained consistent since
the project’s inception, areas of
review have expanded and evolved
with the advent of new programs
and policies. Examples include
workplace safety, hybrid and
remote work options, and health
and wellness.
Now in its 20th edition, BC’s Top
Employers have been raising the
bar for progressive workplaces
as well as building strong
communities across the province.
Detailed reasons for selection can
be found on the competition’s
website, explaining why each of
the winners was chosen:
